It’s been said that history will never
Ever fade;
Remaining a mystery like sun devils
In the shade,
Its journey and bounty being unlike
Traveling time—
Often able to pause and repeat its
Lonely self—
With certain things that traveling
Time left behind.
Like many revised editions placed
On an old dusty self:-
Oh let us be aware of history and not
Let present time be
A return to those treacherous whip-lashing
Demonic days;
Which were wretched and dreadful in so
Many evil ways
For ancestors who made ultimate sacrifices
For you and me.
Thus, let’s be aware that it’s true that timed history
Will never ever fade
And be aware of oppressors’ responses to the progress
We’ve thus far made.
Today, racist oppressors seek once again to defend
Historical policy
That was established to give rationality and acceptance
To that of slavery:-
Know that policy has been said to be a guide for certain
Discretionary actions…
Giving credibility to discretions made in select choices of
It’s chosen implementations.
Thus then, is the upcoming prognosis of making racism
A kind of color-based psychosis
That had old oppressive minds bent and unaware
Of this new diagnosis;
Thus rendering oppressive systemic racism as a newly
Established type of insanity!
Now if you think this is crazy, just give some prudent
Thought to its rationality:-
In jurisprudence, being not guilty has often been due
To one’s mental instability.
Know that such decisions could be used to now justify
Actions of out-right racist bigotry!
With focus on craziness and insanity, let us now ponder
This new psychosis of mind
With respect to its application to systematic racist and
Oppressive systems
Designed to debase, control, and if necessary, to wipeout
Oppressed wounded victims;
Such is the strange relationship existing between craziness
And insanity in today’s un-sane time
Indeed, how crazy it is to be amenable to the insane pooping
Of oppressors
Who consistently like diarrhea, have become your cesspool
Transgressors!
Today, a crazy person is one void of correcting the insanity in
This country’s insane world
And the insane oppressive person is one who viciously fears
Not being feared;
And has no reservations about bigotry and the evil consistently
At you hurled,
For with audacious mendacity, it’s a mental state that’s considered
Un-American and weird.
So please be aware of what they are getting ready to do in America
To us crazy Black folk:-
They are now getting ready to declare and claim systemic racism as
A psycho-neurotic joke!
Now, from a postscript evaluation of frame of mind
You need to sit contemplatively and give poetic thought
To whether this write was crazy, insane, or a waste of time
And do with it what your sane mind tells you what you ought.
