HIS SHED

I Recently Purchased 120 Acres Of Land On The Outskirts Of Crystal Springs Mississippi

My Goal Is To Build On It, Have A Place To Hunt During The Fall Season, And Spend Quality Time At The New Lake House With Family In The Spring

One Day While Working On The Front Entry Gate I Was Approached By An Old Man And Woman Who Intoduced Themselves As Local Land Owners Across The Way

They Began Asking Me About The Okd Shed Behind The House In The Woods

I Told Them Of My Plan To Clear Out The Entire Area Inwhich Will Include Tearing Down The Shed

Silence Immediately Came Over Their Faces

I Asked, Is There A Problem?

The Old Woman Began To Speak

She Said, There In The Woods Is Something That Can Not Be Destroyed

I Responed By Saying, Excuse Me!

She Moved On To Talk About The History Of The Land And Why It Wouldn't Be Wise To Remove The Shed

Then She Began Talking About A Man Name Henry Lee

She Said That He Died Years Ago But His Spirit Lives On In That There Shed To This Very Day

Now Back In The Early 1900s Henry Lee Had A Wife And Two Small Children

They Lived In That There Shed

That Was Their Home

One Morning Henry Lee Set Out Garher Food And Water

While Away The Story Was That There Were Three White Men Wearing White Sheets Entered The She And When They Came Out The White Sheets Were Covered In Red

When Henry Lee Returned He Found His Entire Family Slained And Dead

The Years Have Passed On And Often At Night Sounds Of A Slow Opening Of A Shed Door And Then A Screaming Cry That Will Awaken A Drunk Man Out Of His Bed

Sir That There Is His Shed

Thus are the echoes of Ourstory from back then. Fiction dies, but truth lives on in ghostly realities. Thanks for the share. Peace and Love.
