Loosed away, work chains.

Underground railroad egress

Train of thought delays

Crowding on platforms

Travails via black star lines

No fruit from labor

Commuted sentence

Telework logs overtime.

Work for life balance

Me work come from dawn.

Night come and me wan' go home.

To rent too damn high

Retirement parties

Not a care, no Medicare

No service, track work

Plights fight inclusion

Dead presidents, no regard

Mule train solution

Forty-acre tool

Diversified inclusion

Track improvement plan

Redcoats strike again.

Uncovered hoods, sundown towns

Discounting two cents

Enough sense to know.

Historically end...

Enemy of a State

Shattered mirrors,

Painting a picture,

Gathering shards,

Swept up as to discard.

Thinking I had it all, atlas.

Until one rogue piece cut from my…past

Close by, under tow, least expected,

Never thinking so,  making a  way,

Out the corner  of  my  mind

I was  hit  from  behind,  twirling to find

It twas a  mirage,  surreal nightmare

The present gift was in the feel right  heir

I forgot how  shook  I was to even go  there

So  I  buried her imagery,  until glimpsing memory,

Glancing blows, that brought sharp pangs,

That just as quickly, dissipates, leaving  ponder,

Wandering around, cursing  in the here  and  now

Questioning, how in  the   now,  could I have let this happen,

Building Circles

Know an Arc, playing parts.

Castaways depart, intrepid two steps.

Escaping the deluge of unseemly waves

Promising horizons, via protracting out clauses.

A wait to carry, defying all, even the unimagined

Movements are buoyed between above and down under

Summer falls, winters to spring arrival, always obstructed.

Constructed in a divine draftsman sojourn journalling instruct

Oft times half built, as progeny stand at precipice wandering.

What was written on spirt, appeals in the curious to a survivalist

The plan continues perpetually in building the contemporary

For today is in some way tied to yesterday’s tomorrow in Déjà vu

Retracing and refining civilizations  lost  during  times of forgetting

So walk long,  and  far,  never  alone,  together We must Re-member

Soul-Mate Station

Travelers’ from far to near

Goin’ places, fulfilling dreams that never leave.

Tracing steps from past lives spent.

Sightseers stick out, attired as fair-weather believers.

Followers of scent, gatherers rush in to convene.

Love is at work for Love seemingly never ever sleeps.

Love curators crafting schemes, are the first to depart broken hearted.

Missed connections, others forever lost in misdirection.

Sojourning to look on from overcrowded waiting areas.

Seldom stopping to consider glancing past a runway of incoming arrivals.

Passenger manifests reveal newcomers, hearts in need of just reprieve.

Expectant Escalators travel up and down, as if on an unclosed wheel.

Appeal is heightened for travel to destinations on one-way tickets.

Frequent flyers lie in open spaces, ex-patriate or exiles that no longer believe.

Connections are made...

Awaits

Hearts race,  love is  chase

Found wanting, thrown in place

Life calls collect from memory lanes

A season  to recall,  like summer to fall

Movements are  swept up in  sudden change

Never 2b  seen  in fact  how root from seed remain

Sown in silent steps,  before  my  “I”  knows what begets

I knew, and  kind  of sort  of believed, so still even still faith is kept

Forgotten placements of footprints fitting solely out of ancestors’ instep

For happiness and peace are my soul companions 2b never-ending

Ports of call,  from  exotic  to  serendipitous  are  visited and marked in imprints

Happiness remains whether swiftly  moving or  being  quite  still in being

Cold hands’ clutch  to  pine for minute hours

Warm hearted touch, reminds amore to forever

Hot  hands fan  infamy, stroking fears uncomfortably

Wanting only bids of two cents, paying for sins dutifully

Frozen in ye ole style,  forgotten  writing  sides  of  one another

From babes to  fools, to wolves to tool  who  is  saving  whom

Buried in  success,  freed  by  obscurity leased progressively

Puzzle

Golden brown leaves rotate nearby

During a daily  walk  in this wonder why

Power is revealed again  in  returning guise

Fractured yet still attracted  to  bids 2b whole

Steaming bowels howl

Chained misery growls aloud

Hit dawg hollered foul

Fall Crawls

Sunshine depends, shadows deepen

Breezes once pleasant, increases frequency

Waters saturate dried pavements’ run-off

Showers turn cold and the reign of rain returns

Relief by way of sighs, greet outdoor humility

Harvested vibrancy is stored for lasting consume

Subtle coverings and shawls,  mark  the  overall  mood

Flash dried rues align  the pathways in deafening applause

Flurries of  fauna,  return  from invisibility to scurry about
