-This one goes out to the woman at the piano
-With the big beautiful smile and cornrows
-That for her fans performs concertos
-I’ve seen her on Pro-Active infomercials although
-She makes me feel like I’m Eddie Murphy on “Coming to America†minus the afro
-And I’ve found my queen and her soul does glow
-My mind bounces this thought around to and fro
-What man can make such a lovely woman feel so much sorrow
-That would cause her heart to sing like a sparrow
-Such songs in alto
-So
-This one goes out to the woman at the piano
-With the big beautiful smile and cornrows
-That for her fans performs concertos
-I don’t mean for this to sound stingy yo
-But if she were all mines, after a long session at the studio
-I’d have her dinner and bath water ready then oil and message her from her neck to her toes
-I’ve recorded for hours upon hours before
-I know how it goes
-So
-This one goes out to the woman at the piano
-With the big beautiful smile and cornrows
-That for her fans performs concertos
-Since she’s the one with all the Grammy’s and awards, I’ll watch her shine and lay low
-I’d write a book of poetry about how I miss her while she’s on the road
-Maybe she’d give me a baby then together we could watch her grow
-Anything it takes for me to make our house into a happy home
-Everything the piano woman wants I’ll never say no
-So
-This one goes out to the woman at the piano
-With the big beautiful smile and cornrows
-But that’s all a dream this poem is all in vain
-Because Piano Woman, “You don’t know my nameâ€
