No matter how many
Stops we make
The world continues
To go around and around
Spinning life’s circadian
Rhythms of sun, moon, stars,
And black holes of captured
Light illuminating her axis
As she turns in these days
Of our terrestrial lives
Rumbling beneath
The celestial whorls
Of gleaming worlds
Of unknown life above
Being droned
By off-shore space ships
Seeking futuristic galaxy
Colonization as the world
Down here slowly churns
Itself into a wishing
Shooting star lightlessness:-
Ever noticed how far
Venus is from the moon
As was Africa from America?!
Ever notice how close
Democrats & Republicans be
When it comes to stars
Of black holes like you and me?!
Oh say can you see…???
Just look up into the night sky
And this poem you’ll know why:

Blinking Bright Tonight—Above!
