It’s said that today
the sky’s blinds
will be opened wide
and that the sun
will be smiling broadly.
That tomorrow
the sky will release tears,
moaning the lost
of yesterday’s brightness.
And that the day after,
beneath the sky,
the rhythmic wind
will tease the trees’ leaves
and hovering hummingbirds’
hums with staccato-like
flowing vibrations.
That we will be privileged
to these forecasted
beauties of nature
will depend on whether
or not we’ll be blessed
to rise under the skies
once more and again
perpendicular to them.
