in a coin toss it's either this side or that side the beging or end of one thing to another to decide which side goes first and which side goes last it's happenchance an impossible circumstance that cannot be predicted with certainty when the ball fumbles it's the way the cookie crumbles an occasional coincidental occurrence an unforeseen twist of fate a throw of dice a hit or miss a flip of cards what's seen in the stars gambling on human beings human rights and human life determing who lives or dies in a game of win or lose it's a fifty fifty deal one man's good luck is another man's bad luck it's not too difficult to make heads or tails of the fact that Karma is the one flipping the coin of the realm building one up while tearing one down like Randolph and Mortimer in Trading Places
