A man without a voice

Can’t tell lies.

Needless to say the truth is in his eyes.

The lies sabotage the perception when the truth arrives. 

"BELIEVE ME" is beneath me because I’m covered in lies. 

I believe what I haven’t told

I question what I’ve given

But the secret so is forbidden. I believe my lies because that’s where the truth lies.

Extended Hand

I take this time to extend my hand to the man who had no hand. 

That man had a ear that gave so much non-physical support, you can hear him speak in parables such as judges in court.

That man played devils advocate with his own rationality 

African American was his nationality but a blank space is what he rather be.

The stages from a boy to a man, 

Being able to RESPOND in ways of a civil man. 

That man  lost his cool so he smoked ports

Abandoning his dream of being alive on the court.

That man showed persistence carrying all burdens on his shoulders gettin bolder and bolder.

Love is what that man followed so not being accepted was a hard pill to swallow.
