According to Hebrews 11:1, its the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen
What is the scripture talking about, what does it really mean?
In a modern world, the how’s and why’s of everything that we take for granted
Ideas in mustard seeds, so long ago, sowed and then planted
Assure us that God’s absence is completely fiction
As well as mankind’s interpretations, manipulations, and depictions
Evil is a the manifestation of free will without faith
So our creation was random, just a inexplicable evolution from an ape?
I’ve climbed Mt Fuji in Japan
Rode an Elephant in the rain forests of Thailand
Held a baby Kangaroo, at a zoo, in Australia
Piloted a Navy warship through the Panama Canal, four times, let me tell ya!
Each trip took a whole 24 hours to complete
Walking through Dubai’s Gold Souks, eating Shawarmas in crowded middle Eastern streets
Ate kimchi in South Korea, Painted a school in Ecuador
I’ve sailed on every ocean, visited nearly every shore
As a teenager, I explored Iceland’s capital city of Reykjavík
I didn’t stay long, because I had to report for duty, back on the ship
I’m sharing my life and travels, not to brag, but rather to explain
To both atheists and the righteous, who constantly debate and complain
From myopic views, both to stubborn or scared to ever choose
To wander, explore, and walk in somebody else’s shoes
My years of travel have shaped my global, spiritual, and cultural perspective
Breaking bread in distance lands, completely ignorant of the menu choices that I selected
I’ve seen seas so calm, you’d think the water was made of glass!
And waves to turbulent, you’d try to standup, but just keep falling back down on your a$$!
The sea, like our creator, simultaneously peaceful and dangerously violent
So loud at times, deafening, but mostly completely silent.
