We travel
Feet bleeding
We walk a road of broken dreams and glass hate
Deceiving ourselves of the pain
Licking our fresh wounds with dry tongues
We thirst
But we drink not
Our ancestors traveled the same road
And died the same way
Thirsting for waters by enemy lines
To honor them we carry their deadly legacy
Teaching these pagan ritual to our children
Our Children hunger for more
We teach their bellies that emptiness is to come
Sacrificing their bodies
Kneeling upon broken glass
Praying to unnamed gods
Burning ancient poisonous candles, we worship
Lungs blackened by years of pagan praise
Spitting out death from our bodies
Dying in tradition
The Dreamers they bring forth plagues
Exile
Misfortune
Hardship
A bridge left to be burnt
Together standing broken
We travel
