Lovebirds by the rocks

Underneath the docks

Dwellings the seagulls adore

Swimming into each other

Dreams turn into bliss

One kiss into another

In ecstasy

Two lovers

Roll into one another

In the nights cover

Two melted hearts

Solidify

Under the morning sun

Into the day’s normalcy

Recover

Only into

The next night

Once again

Only to

Love one another

Again

And again

Into the night’s

end

In the kingdom

We call home

Seaside Anchor

The irony of the clock

The ride has ended

The ship has docked

The captain has departed

Sailors flocked

Seals and seabirds

The sea shells and crusted oysters

Remain

Upon glistening nighttime

Sparkling moonlit

Ocean

Embracing dreams

Beneath

Moonbeams

Within of wonderous

Realms

Cool pools

Of blue

With nothing

But one another

Nothing to

Lose

Bearing barren

Peso peasants

Many shirtless

Under the dreary sun

Live the life unpleasant

Begging

Mother earth

For rain,

A day another

Fruit for the brother

Toiling in the fields

Wondering what tomorrow

Shall yield

While feeble grandmas and uncles

Cousins

Weave nighttime warmth

hoping

the cactus gods

will relent

and one day

let the

ripe burning

thirsty and starving

tribes heal
