Ordinary
Nothing
extravagant,
no extraordinary efforts to achieve…
what you might believe to be
Something of importance
someone else might find to be of use
In a moment of inconvenience…
or of imagined need
No, it’s not like that
No…
Not, in the least
Just taking a moment to myself,
To breathe
Relieve myself of this excess energy…
This imagined need
Of taking the risk
of exposing the emperor’s
New clothes,
lest i so choose, willingly
to walk naked, for the world to see
my baby suit
if so blessed to be
Washed by the essential
elemental mist…
Of magical spirit-soul,
a gist of what it’d be
A mystery for me to believe exists
If not for this soliloquy
to otherwise
Carry, in tow…
but come to naught,
If not to be received
by another such endowed
Spiritual being,
who might find usefulness…
in this, song of my heart
Overflowing,
from my soul
