-I’d go back in time, but only if I can take with me what I know now.
-And this is…I go down.
-If my pencil goes down.
-The first time I wrote a poem it was for a girl names Alisa and she gave me a kiss.
-I shoulda known back then, it would end up like this.
-Alisa’s poem went something like this…
-I can’t remember but it had something to do with her lips.
-Can’t forget when I turned my poems into songs with Percy and Poe.
-We had three on the radio.
-Performed them at shows.
-Then held after parties that required no clothes.
-It would end up like this, I shoulda known
-At anger management class.
-The instructor instructed me that when I get mad.
-To grasp a pen and pad.
-Re- enters that same ole gift God gave me all along.
-Now, I plan on spending the rest of my days righting my wrongs.
-By writing my wrongs.
-Because I know now.
-I go down.
-If my pencil goes down.
