The longer the wait, the stronger the faith..

You had me falling for you by the time we sat down.

My alluring contemning convive meanwhile im on cloud 9,

Contemplating my next words on the minute towards the hour.

Just the other day I was struggling to write for purpose, pleasure and power.

My heart is pounding as if a gun pointed to my head,

Overwhelmed with self defeats

Thinking is it still worth it, to continue being me

And through the night i never sleep...

I was told, to seek perfection,

Was an illusion of infatuations false imagery and temporary blindness

But its because of you that I write different,

So much to say I always run out ink from the pen

Today is the day, years of playing back that part at the alter has come,

 The anticipation as the people gather, shes happy but her heart is on the run.

She thinkin about the guy who made her smile;

That day the blue skies seem different, it rarely captures the sun shinning moments,

The bridesmaids dress in glamour and she can barely keep focus.

This is suppose to be easy; Her soon to be husband is everything she could imagine,

Hes light, tall and handsome, his stroke game quench all her desires the passion is everlasting.

Well off financially, showering gifts,

But he lacks in vision, mentally unstable, and spiritually unfit.

Meanwhile the new guy is no way near her preference,

But hes diverse and affectionate and tells her the many ways he wants to penetrate her essence.

Admist the noise and toxic culture,

  I'm an advocate of daily doses of self love, I don't usually confess much.

And this is probably not the best time to reflect on us.

I know we were building trust, but there's someone.

Subsequently, I didnt think you were interested, and I cant stop thinking of her.

Unlike the flowery mantra that enforces toxic positivity,

She is authentic, ridiculously incredible and witty.
