Penny Abecrombe (yeah, I knew her...)

If your intent was to impress
in that loosely clinging dress
you've succeeded and our hats go off to you
fishet stockings are your bait
you're the woman others love to hate
no problem in stealing a man or two

They laugh at your odd name
but no one beats you at your game
what you wish for becomes reality
a different night, a different taste
never a night that goes to waste
love and hated, Miss Penny Abecrombe

Driving slowly down the ave
you see something you must have
and pull your Rolls Royce neatly to the curb
a few words, a show of skin
"all my life, where have you been..?"
later...the hotel... "do not disturb..."

Maybe a week or just one night
as long as it feels right
or something better comes along that you might see
once down and dirty from the hood
you no longer care to be understood
so unpredictable.. Miss Penny Abecrombe...

Yeah..

I knew her...
