Lindsay*—the poet—penned a beautiful river
Of the foundation of what they say today
In their bigoted flowing racist watered delivery:-
He spoke of the Congo that they then feared;
Not of the ancestral waters that we’ve revered.
The frothing waters’ mumbo-jumbo
On the white sands of his & their time,
Wetted an agonizing fear of the reality
Of the glorious mystery of the Congo brine:
A rival flow to their racist rhinestone wines:-
Know that we are also children of the Nile;
Always flowing upward in blessed hoo-doo grace
Towards the God-promised liberated lifestyle
With its boomlay, boomlay, mumbo jumbo pace,
Which He has anointed our ebony liberated race.
Swim waters of divine wisdom and awareness
And all of this that seems to be such a hullabaloo,
Will come like a waterfall of enlightenment to you;
And all the confusion will come to a soothingly rest:
Oppressor syndrome doomed to an ancestral hoo-doo:-
