we ask for change
we beg for change
we hope for change
we wish for change
we’re pressed for change
politicians promise us change
and we get short changed
change isn’t enough to
see the kind of change we
desperately need
our struggle
our boycott
our movement
our marches
our rallies our riots
are they not for change
we require more than
change but keep
getting exactly what
We been asking for
from those who have no
desire to give us a thing
