Chains

Chain in this cage, I don't see a future unless it's the dreams I meet when I hit these sheets where lust rest, Sometimes the way it makes me feel is unfair, No one care, Yet, it's angry we share because we are angry with our Self, It seems I am going crazy thinking about the way it was, Now all I see is the uncertainty in the distance that led to my existence of questioning what is missing, "Is there something that I'm missing from between the lines of life as I sit here listening to the people insecurities turned us into something different, And I'm not the only one in these chains, There are a million of other men that feels this pain, Yet, "Who should we blame, if the streets are just a game that hurt us in the end?" "Can the people in the world hear us from this place?" A place they call prison, Where elders, fathers and the youth is living in chains... "Chains" By: Sa Ra Safari Messiah Kamau

Jah Rasta! First, we must break the chains of mind that chained us in this prison. If as a people we survived the Middle Passage, what other bodies of prisoning waters can there be that we can not unchain ourselves and survive. Great share.
