Versions They Given Us

We wear masks like eyes glass, but see the time pass as we sit in the hourglass that torture our souls, Oh, this world is so cold that it freezes my tears and my cries are unheard through clay vile ears as I stand among my peers, These years are longer then the miles beneath my feet, I grin with no teeth as the lies fill their cheeks that shade their eyes, With no surprise, My dreams has become lies that arise my cries as I stand and smile with a torn and bleeding heart as a child... They have circumcision my life and let the world dream otherwise, I am imprisoned within a prison like a building, Building and destroying on past threats to repay past debts, As I mentally block the feelings of suffering, why I constantly try to be myself in a world that expresses themselves through a mask, Some people say I am going in the wrong way, When it's simply a way of my own, I has been reborn in a cage that turn the pages of skull and bones, But I'm not just skull and bones, My breath never rest, Yet I sleep with death, Out of sight, out of mind, And the beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself, I don't try to impress, For I am original, Not the Version they have given us...
