You portray
a canvased being
whose best friend
is loneliness…
Yet reality
seems to reflect
an imprisoned
loneliness
seeking friendship
in the crowd
It has ostracized…
How ironic
yet to realize
that in receiving
and sharing love
one is breastplated
against that
fear that was
cribbed In
not knowing
and feeling love
yet to be
and experienced…
True love
dissipates
dehumanizing fear
that urges one
to fear love
and togetherness
in the onederful
oneness
of the onement
in God-given
peace and love…
Dare to seek
and accept
given love
showered from
above
and smile at
loneliness feasted
on by loving doves
and if
you’re still
doubtful and afraid
just be mindful
that it was
from love like Jesus
that you were
cocooned and bred…
Be ever mindful
that upon your waiting
dry shores
will always be sent
frothing love waves
to foam on
the waiting dry sands
of crystallized
trauma…
Of such trauma
it has been said:
“...own your trauma
or your trauma
will own you:-”
You portray
a canvassed being
whose best friend
is loneliness…
Yet reality
seems to reflect
an imprisoned

Seeking friendship
