Have you ever really been in love, I mean the kind of love that makes you write black romance poems. Its a deep and profound appreciation of something that is familiar. Just when the world seems unfamiliar, there is something about the black woman that makes you feel connected.
I am saying all of this because it is familiar, for the most part it is all I have ever known. I dont know if that makes me more or less of the world. I feel like a part of everything but still very close to her because in my eyes she is my whole world.
I dont know if I am bigger or smaller for it. I just know thats the way it is for now and in my hopes, hoping that it will always be this way.
