PART I
This may be a winter of many grievous
Hailing discontents,
But we must assess with pride the progress made
Despite current devastating events;
With equal pride, faith, and determination,
We must keep the focus on the final destination:-
Let us be forever mindful that the coming liberation harvest
Will still need our attention;
Thus, let us prepare to sojourn triumphantly with our hope
And faith renewed and strengthen.
Therefore, let us remain focused on the present oppressive realities
Heaped upon us;
As we continue—in this and the comings seasons— sojourning our
Liberating exodus:-
PART II
They say we ought not to focus on seeing things as they are—But as we are
Thus, here we are—American branches with African roots—surviving here
In a deceptive black-deforestation society and its exterminating ways
With respect to the realization of the oppressive ways things are as they are:-
Beloved, consider the following and the way things are today and where we are:
Recall the Preamble to the Constitution of the land of the brave and home
Of the free;
Recall the daily said Pledge to the red, white, and blue symbolic flag of its divisible representations;
Then recall how—today and every day—things really are with us here Being as we really are:
Lifting our voices and singing a song of liberation as we trek onward up
To The Top of Mt. Freedom:-
