Come on y'all and stop the chitter chatter we watched a black man get murdered on TV which further lends creedence to the movement that Black Lives Matter!

We got grifters like Candace Owens whose pockets are getting Fatter,

Making irresponsible statements about our

Brothers as their blood flows through the streets the same blood that helped to build the foundation of this nation that still wants to see us as human chattel 3 fifths of a person.

Talking about George Floyd's background and saying he shouldn't be a martyr,

But let the good ole boys in blue ever catch her on a back road in the south with or without her spouse and see how her life instantly becomes harder.

They are not looking at your BACKground they are looking at your BLACKground.

Political Commentator, Candace Owens, you can quote statistics all you like,

But SourHeart, you don't speak for sane folk slide back into your hole and let intelligent ppl take the mike!

But I really think she wants you to say their names:

Amadou Diallo, Latanya Haggerty, Bettie Jones, Eric Garner, George Floyd, Laquan McDonald, Michael Brown, Philando Castile, Botham Jean, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and Sandra Bland.

Nobody is saying that All Lives don't matter we are not negating that fact but some of the ppl dressed in blue are not taking ALL LIVES they are primarily taking the ones that are BLACK!

Clueless folk want to justify police brutality and say look at the destruction that is going on in Black Neighborhoods they are killing each other look at the blood splatter,

But I say like millions of others somewhere along the way it turned inward because of systemic racism and oppression before and after desegregation we started behaving like the Mad Hatter.

But I am here to tell you that Black Lives STILL Matter!

But pretty soon if some of the people in blue keep taking us out we won't be able to hear the pitter patter...

Stepping In Seward Park...

As I see people stepping in Seward Park In the summertime,

It hearkens me back to when I was in my prime.

Running up and down the stairs going to various apartments and playing with friends,

Never once feeling deprived of anything not love not attention nor financial ends.

As the dancing couples twist and turn each other I smile,

Because it reminds me of the love my parents

shared when I was a child.

As they bop and sway to beautiful songs like Deja Vu, I've Been Here Before by Teena Marie and Res' "For WhoYou Are,

It reminds me of times we use to jump into my mom's mustard yellow colored car.

As the DJ spins the nostalgic tunes,

It makes me think of warm afternoons.

When the Jesse White Tumblers would enter

Seward Park or Lower North Center.
