Doctrine or the Gun

CATEGORY

just different

Mistakes after mistakes got me locked in a cage like I'm mirroring my age, they mirroring my ways like blink page after blink page, trying to read me like my brain is skull free as my blood flow like the stormy sea, my heart sprung a leak as I drifted to the bottom of this beast where it takes a thief to catch a thief, so I guess I'm a thief dress like an Indian chief... In this cage I'm feeling that it's two against one, I'm already fighting me, so what's another one too come undone, I reckon, it's too much sun, as these chains around my neck weigh a bloody ton, so they turn off the lights when their done, because this pen is a trigger and my mouths a gun, clearly the time has come, so the plan has begun and I'm not the only one to say what a father say to his Younger son, "What are you trying to overpower, the doctrine of the Gun?"
