A SPRING MORNING FEATHERING OF MY NEST

CATEGORY

Views: 142

From their tree nest,

Two small birds flapped

And fell into the waiting grass…

On wobbling feet and legs

They stood pecking in the grass

Frantically flapping their tiny wings…

Suddenly, they raised their heads

And faced each other tweeting loudly;

They then flapped their wings and took off.

Startled, my dog and I looked up into a tree

And there were the two little birds in their nest

Along with a larger bird just joyfully tweeting away.

Inspired by this reality spring canvas of nature,

I went back inside and with healing enthusiasm,

Resolved what had been an early morning crisis:-
