Does the truth free you or does it makes you imprisoned yourself in the silent of death of finding oneself... this stress rips holes in my chest as I stumble to do my best like I am a guest within myself...and each minor chord is a test of my breath..."Am I'm possess?"...as I sit rattle in this battle depressed, buried under sickness and diseases that I had to turn into health, as I take the pain and struggles of the world and turned it into wealth... I want to taste the height and depth that dwells within myself, the rivers that flow indepth with my knowledge, as I sit like a psycho in the forest in a small cottage...I am a hostage in the empty columns of this college at the bottom as my mind brings spring into autumn,..I am their problem like a broken condom, for I am the hole they just fall in, as I throw flowers upon their bodies, for I am the allergic to pollen, the one that haven't forgotten like I'm drowning my problems in Heinekens imported from Holland, and for every dollar, I can find a father without a father, where we grew up with a hero but no scholars, so we give back every dollar we made to this system like it's no bother, where the kids want to be gangsters and drug dealers but not lawyers, where they are trained to hoot and holler but never trained to be warriors, where everybody seems to stand up teller on their knees, trapped in a fitful fantasy as the moonlight brush the keys and a sad refrain from the seas seized silently the degrees of old time melodies, that flow through the trees, lakes, streams, and mines so free, as I kiss the howling beast on the borderline, which separate you from me..."Does the truth set you free or does it imprisoned you silently?... assault you violently, while destruction comes so patiently like the risen sun deadly in this intoxication, as this system mentality react so violently when I wish to be free, as it leaves me breathing silently throughout generations, as we sit having empty conversations about our liberation in the mystic of hesitation as my words creep across the nation silently for the next generation to read, silently, and I just give you some degrees... Silently... July 29, 2023... written by Sa Ra Safari Messiah Kamau
