MY LOVE

CATEGORY

first love

 If teardrops were pennies
as I travel memory's lane,
If I counted my heartaches
I'd be rich with pain.

If we were in a boat
And swept out to sea,
I'd give my life.
I love you better than me.

I would give you a rainbow
when you have a bad day.
I would not cast you aside
Because you can't love me.

If you should go-before I do.
I will hear your voice in the breeze.
Wait for me.
I will meet you at the gate
When I give to God my keys.

This poem flows- and it's beautiful- "Who feels it, knows it. Those of us who believe in love- pray for it to be a lot like this. Bravo! Aquarius Khan
