An old man would visit his wife’s grave
To keep the promise that he once made
‘I love you, I miss you, and all is well!’
He’d shout out three times, at a volume just below a yell
This happened for years, though the man would never see
The ‘murder’ of crows perched above him in an old Oak tree
They studied his declarations and kept them as a creed
And 'parroted' back these affirmations to dozens of loved ones, friends, and families in need.
FYI: Crows and Ravens can talk just like Parrots!
