Plant Based

You should have seen the way I planted my foot in his a**, he was talking sideways and based on the angle of my foot, so was I. Disrespect means that extreme boundaries were crossed, the ones you do so intentionally. I had to correct the Universe and let him know what was at the end of that corridor.

You should have heard him, he was saying "Ok, thats enough." and my response is that I stop when I feel like its settled. He wasnt settled with that response and that didnt stop the agony and pain. I was stretching both out and when I finally came to my senses, the Universe was back in balance. 

Voice Recognition

I know you heard me, you turned off your voice recognition. You were clicking on 2 cylinders when you could have been running on 8. You could have become infinite but you only had half of the story. You left out my half and now we are here. 

You questioned everything that I had planned for us but took no responsibility for the outcome. You had a feeling and it wasnt rightfully so because behind that feeling there was no conviction. You would not die for your cause and I would have gratefully died for you. 

Excuse Me While I Kiss The Sky

You didnt think I would make it in this world and the is that I was never really after the world. I almost mastered the psychology of being true to myself.I have one last hurdle and collecting gold medals along the way. I have mastered this thing call life once I fully master this thing called fear. 

I was afraid but no Im pissed and I find something else brewing within me. I have stirred the pot and the aiming for the stratosphere. So excuse me while I kiss the sky.

Pain in the a**

 I think that is what it feels like when you aspire to something and you dont quite make it there. You would look at the situation and wonder if you are a failure but still not taking the time to step back and looking at all that you have accomplished. 

A definite pain in the a** 

Dragging yourself through the world and not giving yourself enough credit for all of the little things you have accomplished. I compare it to rays of the sun, you can't avoid the things you have done. So keep pushing to achieve a little more. 

Black Prose

I cant believe I get to do this, write black prose and live in my ether. I am as close to God as I can be but I would love to get closer. It feels like I am getting to know myself better and at a deeper level. 

I am inhaling and never exhaling feeling the breath and depth of life and of truly not being afraid. 

I am not afraid.

Black Marmalade

The reasons are your own on why you spilled the black marmalade, to watch it ooze and flow beneath your foe and all the while taking into account your own power over life and death. You can say the cards where dealt in your soul you reasoned and righted for that simple moment when you attempted to end a life. 

You spread it thick and wide and life left that black body and there you stand, a portrait of indignation. A false prophet practicing his own religion. 

Halloween Poems

Its that time of the year again where we dress up and part of us are living statements of halloween poems. We tell a story with who we are this time of year and it is interesting to see what some people think of themselves. You ever felt like a black goblin, like you were haunting this world. 

Or a black witch. Interestingly enough, we are the only ones that go out into the world and talk about each other in a way that would not be welcomed in pleasant conversation. We are motivated to achieve so much more and most of the time it seems like we are falling short. 

But yet we persevere in this monstrosity of life and weaves its beautiful patterns into our lives. I say a prayer for the dead but they need not say a prayer for me. We are all a part of this world and I am thankful for the people that were in mine. 

I think them for all they have done for me and my talent is the gift that I give back to God.

Black Refunds

Can you imagine getting a refund for being black. What is the first thing you would do? Do you go an cash in all your chips and wish for a better life. Why not do it just now? Live the life you have imagined and know that you are one with the world but it also has to be one with you. 

You need to use the power of your will to bring forth everything that you want in this life. There is only so far that we can go in finding someone to blame. If those people are not a part of our journey, then why are you still on the same road. 

You are sitting with a full plate and still havent been able to find the fork in the road. Your cup does not runneth over and if it does, isnt it about time you emptied it. It is definitely easier to fill an empty cup and sometimes are minds are just to busy. 

We do not see the world as it is, we see the world as we are. So decide on exactly who you want to be. I am a witness so I am here with you. 

Black History Poems For Church

With this prose, I am going back in time where there could have been such a thing as black history poems for church. Where we take the gospel into our own hands and we push the limits of things that can be accomplished and we push the very fabric of our spirits to make sure that we are seen and heard. 

And if nothing else, I can hear you and that is gospel. I am singing a hymn right now to myself and I know that in my heart the world can hear me. In the undertones I can hear the hymns of others lightly blowing in the ether and I am moved by them. 

Our history is the worlds history and we are more than we seem and still dont measure up to what we can actually achieve in this world. 

Love stands supreme and our love of self is what keeps us in tact and consistently moving forward.

The best poetry books could not have foreseen this life. This was completely unexpected and I want you to know that I am here with you. I want you to feel like just when everyone has given up hope that I am here with you. 

We are writing new chapters as we speak and we want the world to hear our thoughts, our most important ones. The ones that help us feel like we are alive. Like we are meant to do more, to be more, to apply ourselves more and this is still true and will always be true. 

You are a piece of stardust and the Universe is made of particulars, the very same particulars that you are made of. So never underestimate your importance. 

There is a magic power in believing and since we believe the same thing, we are living the same dream.
