A Walk Through The Valley

I walk
through a valley

             everywhere

there are shadows
of death

              scattered bones
            defined in layers

            s n o w  .  .

                                  covers

                             for as far
             as the eye can see

            glistening
            in the moonlight

                           the dusk
                          the dawn
                       the twilight

   b l e a c h e d   b o n e s

the fallen walkers
of the valley

                                as I walk

                              I embrace
                      the revelations
                      before me

                      a n d
                                          all
                      I can think of
                      is living

beyond self
beyond vision                                  beyond circumstance
