Black woman, black women
11/08/22
I am my own skin I am my mind within
Brown skin woman be proud.
Brown skin woman speak out loud.
Don’t be afraid of who our ancestors created us to be!
For we are the, them you us and we
Pain, we have faced from then till 1000 years from now.
But we will remain strong because we are the uniqueness of Thine crown.
We cry tears beyond tears because they choose to tear us down.
They choose to scream we are nothing but a hair do and a frown
But we are somebody we are that one God see.
That cannot be stolen, mutilated or bodied.
They copy us like pages or prints of a picture.
But the jokes on them the black woman is the only historical figure.
The only one that can create life for generations.
The only one who has the power to save him.
Him or them no wait this entire world.
and yet the whole world will shame us for wearing curls.
They try to keep us down or in our place they say.
By turning our black men against us by feeding them the bowl of bull to go the other way
By giving our son’s guns drugs or death by any means necessary
By telling our daughters who they are not beautiful enough to be or marry
By tearing our kings from our home
Taking away everything, they own
And giving us away to say our kings ain’t no good and here lies the 0ne millionth reason we should be alone.
But the time is up, the time is now.
to take our power back black woman no doubt
Let’s be who our ancestors want us to be.
Let’s stick together and be a better you for us them and we!
