    the doll twists

    just
    a single movement
    of the puppeteer’s wrist

        puppet

        nimble hands
        orchestrate mischief

                  sleight of hands
           mask the outcome's
           aftermath

        to the music

Veracity

There're no truths      
                   no lies
        
           none exist  .  .
        
           but for the relationships
                 
                          interpretations

Can’t be saved
but need help

            healthy

                             afraid to fall
            never was taught to fly
            
                    no balance . . .
                    
            just broken pieces
            of bones and sorrow
