every sound
amplified by it's silence
Hunted
by the hounds of Hades
I ran
farther into darkness
I hide in times
long forgotten
Some days bad
others much worse
this verse
shan't be the last
nor first
a r m o u r
doesn't protect from
putrid souls
the stench of the unclean
the perverse . .
The obscene and their ideas
concocting propaganda
iniquitous agenda
confusion
hysteria
a n d c o n f l i c t . .
truth awaits
those brave enough
to seek it
and care not what is found
nor where it leads
beasts in our midst
disguised as sheep
lurking in the underbrush
planting seed
c u l t i v a t i n g d e c e p t i o n s
excelling in obfuscation
employing vagueries and vagaries
conjuring
all manner of imagined
assassins
vacillation and intrusions deliberately designed to provoke
decay of conscience and consciousness giving way to dread and peril
