Broken People Do Great Things (142025)The "broken crayon theory" is a metaphor that unlocks and opens a door to many more a broken hammer can still drive a nail a suitcase with a broken handle can still be carried a broken heart still beats like a drum a broken pencil still can be sharpened like a broken crayon still colors there's no deeper place than a wounded place where scars are born and cannot be erased like the tears we wipe away so we can say "I'm not crying" but sometimes the tracks give us away functioning through dysfunction is everyday life for some more than likely for most one can be split into pieces but still manage to exist applied pressure is what breaks us it's the SNAP! that wakes us UP! |
