Never Mind

Sometimes, I wish I could rewind time.

Cause I'd be lying, if i say there's nothing I wish I could change.

So many things, thers's no where to begin.

Lost in my mind, trying to find ways to press replay.

Would I do the same thing, or find a different way, and weigh, if there would be any guilt today?

Maybe I should do this, instead of that?

That possesion charge, I knew better than to be holding that pack.

Grand theft auto at sixteen, already off track.

I knew he was bluffing, so why'd I choke him like that?

Another trip in the car with lights, cuffed in the back.

Just scratching the surface, there's a lot more than that.

Counseling, nah, there'll be none of that.

Family and friends, they cutting me some slack.

But what about those, who are now foes?

That used to be, family and friends.

Duck, duck, goose, but it's really a hen.

Though i've ignored, never tried to pretend.

Late night, thinking about my soul in the end.

Empty room, with a lone coffin.

This smoke got me really coughing.

Releasing the stress, so I write often.

But this monkey stays on my back, and I can't off him.

Often, I think about things That I can't change.

   Bang!

Maybe one to the brain, will end this pain.

Maybe God will show me, how to let go of things?

The sounding of the bell goes ding.

Ready for another round, and not just in the ring.

Smoke some more, until I'm high enough to hear Angels sing.

No one's perfect, these are just some thongs.

That be going through my mind, pay me no mind.

Pray for me, if you don't mind.

The writing is on the wall, but I be acting like I'm blind.

So how do I reflect, to these images of mind?

Seeds that grow, they thinking that I'm fine.

And when they ask questions, how hard the answers will be to find.

Drinking too much, no no, I'm fine.

You know what, forget it, Nevere Mind!
