who to see

you saw me dancing, around your living room
don’t all children, grow up way too soon
you saw half of me
not who, I’ve grown up to be
.
you watched me, circled the drain
and I guess, I went little insain
you saw half of me
not who, I pride myself to be
.
you saw, the the scars on my wrist
and all your expectations, that I missed
you saw, what a foolish daughter, I could be
not, the stronger woman in me
.
you don’t see, the art on my walls
never watched me, get up from the fall
this is the half of me
you never, took the time to see

The Immortal Wize says:

Wow this is real deep, how one can go unoticed in a place where they dance in the heart of others.
