Let me say it’s not perfect but I promise that it's mine
and while I'm living I’m a be sure to make use of the time
didn't come from no silver spoon but I got a gold grind
royalty or die trying that's my effort I’m not lying
think before I make move but it don't slow me up
I’m thinking of a smart way just to speed the process up
22 years under my belt and I've done enough
wishing lost love ones was here just so I could hear them fuss
but the sun set on they time so it could rise on mines
so now I'm writing my life story through these poem lines
put myself in everything that mean anything except dimes
money the main reason that the world polluted with crime
people constantly senseless dying
leaving family left crying
now I'd be lying if I said that I didn’t have no feelings
I want to give back to the world if I ever get millions
wish I could save the world so that I can have children
but I'm no superman I can't leap tall buildings
the way of the world seems to fade whenever I start drinking
smiling like I'm happy but I'm actually sinking
lowering my level of oppression just so I can stop thinking
but the future in my eyes that's why I can't stop blinking
moments captured with passionate words instead creative pictures
so people can open they eyes to read and open they ears to listen
two things we don't do that's why it's always something missing
knowing half the story then go around spreading the fiction
what an opportunity to live when many don't breath air
why you think you got a heart it's because you meant to care
life is more than who you *** and what kind of labels they wear
those who deserve it don't always get it because life isn’t fair...
