Im an outkast! So I don't belong here, but at this particular event, stars are born here,

I feel like, a slave to the mic, preaching to swine, a positive, role model, exploiting my rhymes,

I'm better than, the average poet but i'm waisting my time,

Its obvious, I'm well spoken but neglected with mine,

Just because I don't say and don't rap about 9's,

I treat a woman like a Queen, dinner movie and wine,

Fancy cars and limosines aint appealing to mine,

She loves me for my knowledge homie read a book, you'll be fine,

what goes around comes around so you hooked on the lines,

I traded wisdom for a dollar but my pockets are fine,

Don't get it twisted I aint rich but I bet u I shine,

Don't need the money or the crib but I will get it in time,

Basically just respect me when I come to your shows,

If you don't like me find an exit and step your foot out the doe,

Because they love to see you choke, bloody, homeless or broke,

locked in Jail, going to hell, selling your soul for some dope,

I graduated, finally made it and now my books on the shelf,

Don't need a deal or a mill I'm perfectly happy with self,

Jah has blessed me with a gift that is greater than health,

Knowlege, Wisdom, and Overstanding is the key to my wealth,

Be successful anyways Outkast... Peace!!!!!

My Black His-Story

Tragedy and Missory is what they teach for my Black his-story,

Learning to self hate the youth grow up in hypocracy,

Trapped in our own mind they set us free but not free mentally,

My people have not changed they'll sell each other to live in luxory,

I prosper everyday but when i do my people envy me,

The struggle will someday pass but until that day they still have HIV,

They want us to kill eachother, to lock us up- in captivity!

But the devil will not win, no more sin and false phyilosophy,

Used and abused and mistreated for there monopoly,

Poverty is driven, giving your last to play the lottery,

I made up in my mind to live free the rest was His-Story,

If u want to be clean and succeed step out Faithfully,

This world is a gift but a curse without the unity,

There is power in Knowledge it was written just like your destiny,

So get off the couch and pay attention ...
