When I Told Him I Loved Him

CATEGORY

life

down and out

at a pout

in doubt of his

fatherhood

done all he could

felt as if he went astray

why would he feel this way?

tears were at a delay

proceeds to say he was all work

and no play

no time spent, he than went

to a sudden vent

waterfalls down his face

we began to talk and

took a walk

in our hidden place

I explained to him that he

had six to support

a wife to court, in my eyes

he was such a sport

I adore you and very well pleased

it was than I said ”I love you”

that's when he fell to his knees
