In case of emergency break or shatter does it really matter?

Not to get it twisted or misunderstood

To them Trayvon martin was just a boy in a hood

They say he was bad and up to no good

Because he suspiciously stood out by wearing a hood

Suspiciously walking through the hood

Trayvon was our boy and to us he was good

Does it really matter what happened that night

How he struggled and put up a fight

Whose voice was screaming in the night?

Did our boy have to die that night?

Trying to make it home safely did he have that right?

Where is the justice what makes us suspicious?

Did Trayvon have to lose his life?

Our boy will never have a child or wife

Our Boy Emmett Till snatched from his bed

We did not forget that

Our Boy Medgar Evers followed home and shot in his back

We did not forget that

Our Boy James Byrd Jr. Drug to his death till there was nothing left

We did not forget that

I hold this pen and not my peace

This injustice needs to cease

To our boy rest in peace

Countless black boys and men

Peace should not be held

We should take a stand

We should not be silent

We should all stand bold

This is senseless violence

that took the life of a child

who got no justice

Do not forget this

Make it clearly understood

Trayvon martin was our boy in the hood and to us he was good

Very good my friend. I like the tone of this. The imagery is point on. Well done.
