Love Never Knew us

CATEGORY

first love

They say Love, Loves to hate us, punish us, scorn us,

Raise us high above the ground only to break us into a million pieces,

Leaving you dazed as to where you start picking up the parts,

It feels our heads with lies, and false hope only to satisfy the infatuation of our brains.

They also say that Love is a game,

Where two contenders are pitted against each other to survive against all odds,

Those that get to see the end are a very fortunate few,

Regardless of the pain, Bull crap and dishonesty, but would it be safe to say Love ever knew us???

Check the fine line between liking, loving and liking tolerating someone,

Check the true definition of love hidden in first Corinthians, in trusted in the Holy Bible,

Hen with it in your left hand and right hand in the sky, put it close to your hear and solemnly swear,

Under the eyes of the father that is how you truly feel,

Will you be willing to do whatever it takes for that heart that beats solely for you,

So that you can keep it beating, even if it meant giving your own?

NO?

Then tell me,

How can you claim to love someone when you have forgotten what love is?

When forgot to remember the basic principles of love, of which without them love is no more than a fairytale,

Therefore making it impossible for it to can have ever known us for it was never here,

Not knowing if it tried to introduce itself to us, so that we may stop being acquainted to its picture,

And chasing after its shadow, but our deceitful and spiteful ways,

Made sure that it never reached our hearts,

Way before it even thought of looking our way,

The pain that filled our hearts, and anger that consumed our souls, made sure it stood no chance,

So yes Love never knew us, because it died way before it got to us.
