This alcohol & nicotine keep callin my name
To lighten da strain
Or at least thats what they say
I believe that slowly dyin is just another way
To maximize a different affliction distracting me from
The everyday pain...
Ya kno to give me a bigger problem than da bills
So that the bills dont seem so big when im sick with this affliction...
Red bulls to keep me goin
Fast food cuz im rushin...
Easy sex to release the stress
He aint gotta be a husband
Its all deadly
Deviously designed for population control
So the poor eventually go
& the rich keep gettin old
Some call it survival of the fittest
I call it the matrix
Falling victim to the lies
The vanity & other fake
Will u donate a dollar
To a dying child u never seen
I bet its children on ur corner who you ignore as they plead...
& bleed
Lets see...
I got 600 & some odd facebook friends
Would they all donate a dollar to pay my 600 dollar rent
To keep a roof over their "friend's" 2 helpless little kids
Or would you call me a bum & say im beggin jus cuz i asked
Would you then procees to judge me...
If i quietly spread my legs
or get on somebody"s pole & dance...
to make some petty cash...
Is it ***ed up that people i barely kno help my kids more than their own dad?
Would you read this poem & say "damn... thats sad i feel bad..i wish there was somethin i could do...but i cant"
Its cool...
I understand
Cuz my limbs are tied too & i cant offer you a hand
& if you needed to take...i too, have nothing to give
So lets apologize in unison
& call it a day...
I gotta go...
This alcohol & nicotine keep callin my name
