Screams Ringing

How long can we hate,

Stuck in this world like holding our breath,

Crying for more love like the air we breath,

What am I waiting for...

These words I choke on,

Trying to find a voice,

Try to make your speech,

Slurring through gnashed teeth...

Face gnarled by anger and pain,

Ears still ringing,

Head filled with ceaseless noise,

Mouth sore from constant screaming...

Feet aching from turning your wounded back and walking away,

Eyes stricken sore from watching you bleed me to black out,

Body battered from you bringing me crashing down...

Smile never shines because all you left me to do was frown,

Yes your the one the flipped the world 'til it made me look like a clown

You made me just high enough to hit the sky,

Shot me cold-blood as you laughed watching me drown,

Broke my heart left the pieces all over town...

As I walk the streets I watch them lie,

I try to smile but you just pass me by,

I ask for redemption but it seems to be truths far-cry.
