What Is a Mid-Life Crisis?

Is it the old man, trying desperately to recapture some of his youth

Maybe it is the weak man, attempting to gain some real strength

An expanding waist line and a sagging belt line, is this our real proof

We start to get to the heart of the matter, when we see our hair loses it length

When did we really discover that life offers no one partiality?

Is it the father attempting, to be the mighty son once again?

Could it the be stark realization, of man’s mere mortality

When we wake too many days gone by, it brings us our real pain

Are we not always in the midst, of some empty human crisis?

Does not life always leave us, wanting and needing more?

Have we not made ourselves, prisoners of our own devices?

We can only demand from deep within, our desire to explore

Does the desire to change our course m,ake us unstable?

To accept the present is our wisdom and this makes us able
