I've made my last formation taken my last PT test; fired my last weapon and now I've been laid to rest
Still I'm not resting because my family is experiencing public grief; due to the actions of my commander-in-chief
I was never one to complain or grumble and I definitely wouldn't pout; but this is so unreasonable so now I'm speaking out
I proudly raised my hand and gladly took the oath; as I enlisted to be a soldier...and I always cherished both
When I took my oath I was asked to state my name; when you spoke to my wife I wish you would've done the same
I won't question your initial motive while others are free to theorize; but for the sake of unity as our leader why not simply apologize
I signed up to serve on the battlefield at the risk of the blood that I would shed; but I never wanted my family to suffer, or have the public be misled

Love's War On Divorce
If all is fair…In love and war….
Then…Why do both seem so unfair…
Maybe…We need a new justice system…
As…This one’s gotten us nowhere
For richer or for poorer…
The… Traditional marriage vows say…
True Christians marry for love…
Not tradition…Letting God lead the way
In sickness and in health….
Until death do us part…At the altar we repeat…
But…When the headaches come and bullets fly…
We beat a hasty retreat
For better or for worse… Has become a double edged sword…
So...For those cutting issues… Our best…
Should be the others reward
Forsaking all others…Oh for goodness sake…
We must seek first the kingdom of God…

Begs the question.... did he have to shoot...?

Fully equipped to serve and protect....
But in the process of doing this....
There should also be dignity and respect

Yes…I love two women at the same time…for one simple reason

I love the other for what she’s not and the promise… of what I could come to be

The other offers a future, filled with great mystery
One made me a father and demanded that I go farther
The other patiently waited on me, when I could go no further
I love one for the attachment to a foundation, which provides stability
I love the other for the hope of adventure, when I think of being free
A divided masculine fulfillment, composed of wife, mistress, lover, friends and mother

Another Restless Night
Tripping over you, as I fall into bed
Experiencing further disappointment, because I’ve been misled
Tossing and turning, as I turn away from you
Rolling over to face the issues that surround me, asking what do I do?
Going through the motions, yet emotionless
Thinking of abandoning this situation, unwilling to confess
Trying not to be here, has gotten me nowhere
Feeling….. if either of us left, neither would even care
Blanketed between external lust and internal satisfaction
Injecting suggestions of seductive thoughts, still there's no reaction
My eyes I can close, but from this state I can’t escape
Night after night, replaying the same worn out tape
The Comforter brings no comfort and the sheets don’t seem to fit
The headboard is idle and silent, so frustrated here I sit
While the mattress is brand new, all of its bounce is gone

If you’re not living today and desire to live tomorrow; can you afford to pay cash, or from your future will you borrow
What is the price of the life, which you truly desire to live; how much of your present or future self, are you really willing to give
Can giving an arm and a leg, be able to get you a better year; I’m sure walking and handling are things, that you hold dear
Can giving the eye of the tiger, let you see a better day; if you pay this price, someone else, will have to show you the way
Could sacrificing all of your money, to live happily poor; why not if you’re truly happy, would you even need it anymore
The price for life is easy it doesn’t cost a thing, as you leave earth you take nothing, and as you enter that’s what you bring

I’ve a proposition, I would like to state poetically; it is my desire, for us to conspire and I couldn’t say it more emphatically
You and your book, are what I have been looking for, as my artistic equal; I believe we should collaborate, let’s do a sequel
I really enjoyed reading your words, as they bonded with the page; providing the mind the basis, to properly set the stage
You can be common virtue and I’ll be common sense; you can wash their minds to prepare them, so that I may then rinse
