I've seen humans but not humanity....
Cause sometimes life teaches you a lesson
Just when you aren't prepared for class.... ...
It only hits you when the truth lies naked right before your eyes
When money tolls it's way past your zippers
When you're surrounded by the empty cans you drowned your sorrows in
Realizing that you've lived for the moment, with no plans for the future.
And now as the night is slowly coming to a close
Through my confused emotions
I realize that I've only become an easy target
