The Perfect FairyTale

I am A perfect...
mind full of deceptive fables
candied with hope filled
nightmares born of dilluted
fantasies.
I am A perfect...
carcass of misery,
whose, while waiting for charming,
heart was blackened by
venomous kisses
left by an evil prince
whose lips tainted
this poisioned apple.
I am A perfect...
fool, grasping at
the sun's intangible
promise, scorched by the
burn of my own hesitance,
leaving my fingerprints seared
with an inscription
reading,"Only when you believe".
I am A perfect...
disbeliever believing
reality reads better than fiction,
and no dream sprinkled with fairy dust
will magically imagine me
somewhere over the rainbow.
I am A perfect...
unfinished story,
searching in a forest of
lions, tigers, and bears
for a yellow brick road
that will take me to
never never land,
to a happily ever after
mirrored mirror
of beautiful dreams
destroying these horrid beastly
realities.
I AM A perfect...
fairytale.

Bravo. Your structure metaphors are all on point. Hints of alliteration the mechanics all make for a superb poem. Good work poetess.

Very flowing intrigue of a write well crafted and presented the thin veil of reality vs fantasy nice insights, I believe in the real world if you want it bad enough you will gain it whatever it is

Thank u for taking the time to read my writes. Ur right if u want something bad enuff and put forth the effort to make it happen, if it is for u, u will succeed. I wanted to pen something showing how someone who doesn't believe in fantasies fantasizes about living in a fantasy to escape the nightmarish fantasy they r living. It's like she's all kinds of discombobulated and finds a thin line between her disdain for reality and the reality her fantasy will never be real. Glad u enjoyed it.
