Drowning in pain
Tonight she cries
With broken dreams
She seems to fall apart
And a part of her dies
And so tonight she cries
Forsaken by family and friends
Who were almost never there
Her own life overshadowed
By immense pain and immense fear
So Tonight she cries
Her honest truths mistaken for lies
True love despised
Her pain; shows in her beautiful brown eyes
In sorrows she drowns happiness becomes a dream
for tonight she cries
Her strength no longer there
Her love leaving her only in despair
It's no surprise
That she overshadows her pains with lies
Her soul seems lost
And so tonight she cries
She prays for the days when her soul is at peace
She longs for days when she can be free
She longs to forgive herself
To love again
But for now she cries
Tonight she cries......
