Basketball that's all

reflecting back on my younger days

when all I did was played

at the playground under the hot sun

my shadow and I getting it done

One on one we would go

practicing moves to put on someone for sure

Game time up and down that court

sweat beaming who wanted it the most

The touch the feel soft hands my basketball appeal

Playin hard roughen for position

Its my neighbor hood I am representen

The drive the scoop the dip the snatch

basketball games back to back

In order to stay you had to play

for five more guys waiting to have their say

Got to win with that spin play defense

make it intense

Basketball always with me as we ride

lookin for games and victory

Loved it so much never knew I was poor

Grab my basketball out the door

yelling more more more
