 Dear love,

weve never seen eye to eye

too busy looking over each other's shoulders

hoping to escape the standoff

you feel you are wonderful

and though times I agree

i think you've been too presumptuous on occasion.

i write this letter hoping to find a truce in these terms;

- I need you that is certain though admit as well 

that without me you could not prosper.

- please refrain from making me do things that in sound mind

i would find irrational, though I've heard you have that

way about you.

- be there when I need you but when you do not want to stay

please find refuge elsewhere as your presence is desired 

it is not needed if not reciprocated.

of course there are more terms however I feel if we can at least agree 

that this is where we start

Uncertainty

 Its uncertain to me

When uncertainty became the essence 

of my adolescence.

Not sexual as many with all too 

Closed minds and open eyes

Might imagine,

But just in regards to my actions.

Ive read poe, heard the blues

Seen movies, watched the news,

and yet am still uncertain. 

Uncertain as to what exactly

Is my place in this abyssal reality. 

Slaving away for a salary,

Watching toes as I walk to assure

No one is mad at me, meanwhile

Missing the scenery of the long route

Pure, true, Insanity.

I am uncertain of the words that i speak

As they land so heavy that deaf ears

Seek shelter from vibrations.

But to the ones whos hearing I seek

Attend only to words of less value,

Why must i be cursed with a passion 

For that which affords me no passion,
