Damn! I saw the yellow sign from a far but never did I Stop to caution the heart
I kept going full speed not paying any attention to what was in front of me
How could I have missed that bright yellow sign, warning me about the infidelities, the abuse, and the lies?
How could I have not seen the wrong within you when the caution sign was there the entire way through?

I saw the yellow sign when she entered my space, I saw caution written all across her face, yet I proceeded to befriend her, comfort her, and even love her as a sister.
I placed no other friend before her, Damn! I could have avoided that mistake, had I used my mind and followed the warning sign, maybe I wouldn't be sitting here ready to whoop yourbehind you messing with what was once mines.
